Triptych at The Annex

The Midland Exhibit at The Annex in Highland Park with the DWSPS was everything we expected and more! Friday night beginning at 5 pm and lasting until ten, the doors were thrown open with the jazz notes of Harmonica Shah filtering into the night. There was even some occasional dancing. Really fun venue. A closing reception is planned for Saturday, October 6 from 5-10 pm.

I was joined by my son Andrew, daughter-in-law Emily and husband Robert (the one behind the camera), appearing in the photo below.

The triptych titled Unwavering Love consists of three separate panels operating as one idea. Check out my last blog called "Evolution of a Triptych" - the legend and inspiration behind the painting are revealed, as well as a video illustrating the process of making of it. In addition to a fun venue, some excellent artwork, and great reception, happily Unwavering Love was awarded an Honorable Mention at the exhibit!

The next event is right around the corner. In fact, I dropped off two paintings today to be displayed at the 26th Annual Canton Fine Arts Exhibition sponsored by the Canton Commission for Culture, Arts and Heritage. The Opening Reception is this Thursday, October 4th, at the Village Theater at Cherry Hill at 6:30 pm. Come on out - all are welcome!
