This was taken tonight at the artist reception for the Visual Arts Association of Livonia Fall Exhibit. I'm looking a little like the cheshire cat, because happily, my oil painting, Lily of the Valley, was "honorably mentioned" by the judge, Robert Throne, artist and adjunct professor at Eastern Michigan University. The show will be up until November 17th at the Livonia Recreation Center. If you live in the Detroit area, it's a great exhibit - nice variety!
